How does data protection work in iyzico?
iyzico has the PCI-DSS certificate, which is the world's highest data security standard. With its PCI-DSS certified service, every need regarding data security is sustained. When you use iyzico's platform, thanks to iyzico API's smart tag solution, you can provide maximum security services to your customers via a PCI-DSS certified infrastructure without the need of obtaining a PCI certificate.
What is commission rate and transaction fee?
If you are a corporate seller, you can get a special offer with commission rates starting from 4,29% and a transaction fee of 0.25 TL per successful transaction on your site.
Will I pay a starting fee or any other fixed charge?
There are no starting fees, or any other fixed charges that you need to pay to use iyzico.
What are payments in instalments?
Instalments allow clients to pay for their purchase in instalments during shopping with Bonus, World, Maximum, CardFinans, Paraf, Axess, and Advantage featured credit cards through a special agreement between the seller party and the bank. The number of such instalments and additional expenses to be incurred are entirely dependent on the agreement made between the seller party and the bank.
If you would like to offer payment in instalments on your online shop, you will need to contact and request online payment terminals from each and every bank separately. However, banks usually tend to decline such requests made by small and medium sized businesses.
When you work with iyzico, you can process transactions on your online shop from almost all banks in Turkey and offer your customers installment as an option.
With which credit cards can my customers make payments in instalments?
At iyzico, currently paying in instalments is available with Bonus, World, Maximum, CardFinans, Paraf, Axess, and Advantage. This means that you can take payments in instalments with all credit cards of that belong to seven banks.
Will I get paid in instalments when my customers pay in instalments?
When you work with iyzico, payout of your instalments sales is not carried out in instalments but in full to your account after the commission fee from the price you sold your product is deducted.
What is the commission rate to be applied for instalment payments?
For each successful transaction made through iyzico, the commission rate is starting from 4,29% and the transaction fee is 0.25 Turkish Liras (Bank Insurance Treatment Tax-BITT- inclusive). For instalment payments, each bank has its own delay interest rates. For such payments, you can offer your clients better prices by covering delay interest charges yourself entirely or partly.
Can I offer instalments on the cash price?
Yes, you can. It is entirely up to you whether delay interest charges are reflected to your customers.
Through adjustments you can make on the "Instalment and Commission Management" page available at the iyzico Control Panel, you can offer better prices to your customers by covering the delay interest costs yourself entirely or in part.
I can’t see "Instalments Rate" on my iyzico Control Panel? Why?
The reason is that your business model isn’t eligible for payments in instalments. For detailed information, please reach out to us via "Contact Us" section of our website.
How can I calculate the commission rate that I will pay you if I decide to cover the cost of delay interest?
For each successful transaction made through iyzico, the commission rate is starting from 4.29% and the transaction fee is 0.25 Turkish Liras (BITT inclusive). For payments in instalments, each bank has its own term difference rates. If you decide to take payments in instalments on the cashprice by covering the cost of delay interest, you can calculate the deductions to be made through the "Instalments and Commission Management" menu on the iyzico control panel.
Can I change the instalment rates whenever I want or revert them?
Yes, such changes are always under your control. You can disable the changes you made through the "Instalment Rates" section on your iyzico control panel by using the same section.
When will I see the changes I make on the "Instalment Rates" section?
Any changes you make on the "Instalment Rates" section will be reflected to the checkout form on your online shop instantly. That's why it is very important that you calculate any change in detail when using the relevant section.
What are application requirements?
By clicking the “Sign Up” button, you can start your membership process immediately. It is very important that you pay attention to the details below to conclude your application faster and easier.
- Your website must be ready to use with your products and pricing information.
- Your website must have the following pages- Privacy Policy, Distance Selling Contract, Delivery and Returns Policy, About, and Contact.
- Your payment page must have SSL certificate.
- You must have all relevant licenses and documents granted by the relevant authorities for the products you sell.
- Your websites need to have Pay with iyzico, Visa and Mastercard logos. You can download the logo package here.
Which business models are excluded from evaluation?
Product or service categories listed below will not be considered for evaluation.

What are the required documents?
You will need to upload the following documents to our system during your application.
- Signature circulars
- Tax plate
- A document showing your company account details obtained from the bank where your company account is held. This is required for us to verify the IBAN you provided to the iyzico Control Panel to receive payments. Therefore, you will need to send us a document showing your account number and bank IBAN obtained either from your bank or through online banking or alternatively, you can scan and send us the first page of your account book/passbook.

Can I use iyzico if I don’t have a company?
Yes. You are not required to establish a company to start selling with iyzico. You can use our “Get Paid by Link” service and start selling via a link in 24 hours. However, for corporate and market place payment solutions you need to have a company.
I have a sole proprietorship type of enterprise, can I use iyzico?
You can benefit from iyzico services once you submit information and documents that belong to your trading company.
Why do you require the document with my banking information?
We require a document showing your company account details obtained from the bank where your company account is held in order to verify the account that you registered to the iyzico platform. For verification, it would be sufficient to upload a sample document that shows any transaction from the relevant account. In such sample, account holder name and IBAN should be clearly visible.
Can I use iyzico through somebody else’s company information?
To benefit from iyzico’s services, the person’s or the company’s name on the tax plate you upload to your account should match the account information to which the payments will be transferred. In case, the name on the tax plate doesn’t match with the account information to which the payments will be made, the payments won’t go to the relevant account and will be put on hold.
What is TURSAB Document?
As mandated by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, all organizations founded on the basis of providing tourism and travel services need to obtain this document.
Where can I get a Tax Plate?
To get a Tax Plate, you will need to go to the Revenue Administration website. Following this, you will need to open up the tax office option and login with your username and password which you shouldn’t share with other people. You need to enquire about your information by clicking on the enquiry button on the page and then open the tax plate option, taxpayers should enter their taxpayer number and Turkish Identity Number together. On this page you can form the tax plate in any form you wish and print out any number of copies as you desire. It is obligatory to hang the tax plate to every level for firms located in multiple-story buildings.
Do I need to send you the Ministry of Agriculture Organization Registration Document?
According to “the Regulation on Registration and Approval of Food Businesses,” businesses conducting any activity involving food manufacture/proccess/storage/distribution/transport/sales/serviced run by public organizations and real or corporate bodies regardless of them being for profit or non-profit, are described as “Food Businesses”.
In case you make food sales through your website, we are only able to work with you on the basis of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Business Registration Document that includes the legal firm name demonstrated on your tax plate.
Where can I add the required criteria for the Website (Privacy Policy, Distance Selling Contract, etc.) to the application form?
You need to add the relevant contracts and their contents to your website.
I don’t deliver physical products; do I still need to add distance selling contract and delivery returns policy to my website?
If you don’t deliver products, it is enough that you add the returns policy for the service you provide to your website.
Will there be a contract between us and iyzico?
A contract needs to be signed between iyzico and your company upon the completion of your application process.
Where can I view the contracts?
You can view your contracts on the “Application” section of your iyzico Control Panel. When your application is accepted, the relevant team will send you an information e-mail to your registered e-mail address.
How will I accept the contracts?
iyzico has started “Digital Contract” era to facilitate user processes. In this regard, your application process will be significantly shortened since you will not need to send the signed contract to us.
Your contracts will be sent to your e-mail address upon the completion of your application process. The only thing you need to do is to approve the contracts which can be viewed under the “Application” section of your iyzico Control Panel and then click to “Accept Contract” link.
Will it be acceptable to send the contracts to you after scanning and signing them?
Unfortunately, due to our Digital Contract system we don’t accept physically mailed contracts. To complete your application, you will need to accept the contracts via the “Accept Contracts” link on your iyzico Control Panel.
There are articles in my contracts that I require to be amended. What should I do?
iyzico is a platform of certain standards for the service it provides. One of these standards are its contracts. The content of the contracts doesn’t vary according to firms. Therefore, it is not possible to omit or amend any articles included in the contracts.
Can I take payments in foreign currencies?
Thanks to iyzico Multi Currency feature, you can take payments from anywhere in the world in US Dollars, Euros, Great British Sterling, Russian Ruble, Swiss Francs and Norwegian Krone currencies as well as in Turkish Liras through Visa and Mastercard branded cards. The payments you take in foreign currencies are exchanged into Turkish Liras based on the Central Bank exchange rate of the payment date and are transferred to your account in Turkish Liras with the exchange transaction fee deducted on the payment date. You can start getting paid in other currencies just for an annual fee of 99 TL which you can add through the “Additions” section of your iyzico Control Panel.
Can I use the Link Method when I apply for Get Paid Online?
Yes, after you choose the Link product through the section “Additions” on your iyzico Control Panel, you can accept the contract that will pop-up and start using our Link Method free of charge.
How can I apply?
- You need to sign up for an iyzico membership as a first step.
- After signing up you will login to iyzico Control Panel and see the “Apply” button on the left side of the panel. You can view the application form by clicking this button.
- You will need to save your information and documents to this application form. You will be required to upload your scanned documents online to the “Required Documents” section placed at the bottom of this form.
- After you fill in the relevant sections of the application form, choose t“I accept iyzico Service Terms and Conditions” box at the bottom of the page and click on the “Complete Application” button and your application will be on its way.
What is a personal application?
If you don’t own a corporate entity (don’t have tax plates, signatory circulars/declarations) you can make a personal application for our Link product depending on your business models.
Do I need to post the required documents to you?
It is enough for you to upload your required documents online via the iyzico control panel.
I can’t upload my documents; the page indicates an error. What should I do?
You may have a problem with the size or the extensions of your documents. We recommend that you retry uploading as PDF, PNG or JPEG and with less than 10 MB in size. If the problem continues you can contact us at [email protected].
Do I need to inform you after I complete my application?
No, you don’t need to inform us at that stage. After you fill out the application form and complete your application, your information and documents will be transferred to us online. Our team will contact you as soon as possible after checking your information and the documents provided.
When will I learn about my application outcome?
When you fill out all the sections of the application, iyzico team will start checking your application and contact you through your registered e-mail to update you the application status within 24 hours. You don’t need to do anything until our team contacts you.
Note: Our working hours are between 09:00-18:00 on weekdays and 10:00-17:00 on Saturdays. Applications made on Sundays will be evaluated between 09:00-12:00 on Monday mornings.
When will my application be approved?
Application approval period is 24 hours. Depending on your business model, this period may take longer if and when additional documents and information are requested.
How can I check my transactions?
You need to login as a member to the iyzico website and then you can manage your account statement, transaction details, refunds, and instalment rates by using the control panel.
What is 3D Secure?
3D Secure is a security system developed by Visa and Mastercard to ensure that purchases made online are safer. 3D Secure obligates to enter the security code sent to your mobile phone to complete the transaction and this way, if your card details are stolen, the system ensures you are safe online.
For Visa credit cards the system is named as “Verified as Visa” and for Mastercard cards it is “SecureCode”. There are no additional charges to activate this system.
Can I use 3D Secure?
All our merchants can benefit from the 3D Secure service by providing it as an option to their customers on the checkout page. iyzico requires the use of 3D Secure option for some of the business models it deems to be risky. Even though 3D Secure system is not a requirement, if you would like to use it, you can contact our team through the Contact Us section.
What is Card Storage?
With the Card Storage feature, your customers don’t need to enter their card details for every transaction so that they complete their payments fast and easy. This will increase your revenue by decreasing the bounce back rate of the transactions from the shopping cart.
How can I benefit from Card Storage?
To start using iyzico’s Card Storage Solution just pay 99 TL and you can activate this feature. To activate it just go to “Additions” section on the iyzico Control Panel.
What is BIN Check Solution?
BIN (Bank Identification Number) is the first six numbers of a card eligible for payment (debit card, credit card or pre-paid card). With BIN Check, the bank of which the card belongs to can be checked and payments can be directed to the relevant bank’s virtual terminal. Thanks to the constantly updated BIN Checklist, the distinction between debit cards, credit cards or pre-paid cards are successfully made. With the updated data used for BIN Check, you can find out more about the cards of the users trying to make payments by using your service such as their cards’ banks and view the card type and the bank it belongs to on the payment form.

What is Fraud Service Solution?
Fraud is a term in e-commerce that expresses online purchases made by card theft. iyzico guarantees maximum level of security with its 150 check filters and fraud solution. With these filters, you can protect yourself and your customers from fraud in online transactions. You can get detailed information on this from the “Suspicious Transactions” section on your iyzico Control Panel.
What are Alternative Payment Methods and how do they work?
You can offer Alternative Payment Methods to your customers who don’t have or don’t want to use debit or credit cards. These methods are classified under two headings as “E-Wallet” and “Online Bank Transfer in Real Time”.
E-Wallet: This solution can be used by all merchants that support Qiwi E-wallet through pre-payments to e-wallets or by defining bank card details into the wallet without sharing of the card details.
Online Bank Transfer in Real Time: This is a payment solution that allows all payments using iDEAL, Sofort Banking, and Giropay are easily and securely made through internet banking channels. With Online Bank Transfer in Real Time, you can carry out your payments by directly connecting to the relevant bank’s internet banking.

What should I do to offer all foreign currencies in my online shop?
You need to activate the Multicurrency service from the “Additions” section on your iyzico Control Panel. After this please follow the steps below;
- API: For the payment form to be created in the relevant currency, you will need to enter currency code into the “currency” parameter.
- Ready Made Infrastructure: You will need to contact your infrastructure provider and update them.
- Open Source: You will only need to add the foreign currency to the admin panel of your website.
What is the advantage of selling in foreign and local currencies for me?
- When customers see the product’s value in their own currency, rate of bouncing back from the shopping cart decreases and conversion rate will increase.
- Amount in the foreign currency presented to the customer during transaction directly to the statement of the buyer and there are no surprises for buyers due to currency change.
- When presented with the local currency, customer won’t need to deal with issues such as calculating the exchange rate.

What is Marketplace Payment Solution?
Marketplace Payment Solution provides payment infrastructure for platform-based e-commerce sites. When the end-user who purchases service from the marketplace makes the payment with credit card, the money will be first transferred to iyzico’s account. iyzico then deducts the commission to be paid by the platform member seller and transfer the remaining amount to the seller and to the platform separately. This way, platform-based e-commerce sites have a hassle-free payment flow.
You can also accept foreign currencies as well as Turkish Liras and you can make sales with different currencies. Moreover, iyzico Get Paid Online allows you to receive payments from abroad with alternative payment methods.
Who can benefit from the Marketplace Payment Solution?
Firms with marketplace or platform-based e-commerce sites can benefit from the Marketplace Payment Solution. Do my sellers need to have firms too? If not, will there be any information/documents required from my individual sellers?
Sellers who will join your e-commerce site which provides services as a marketplace are not obliged to have companies.
Sub-merchants of a marketplace can have three different business models:
- Individual
- Sole trader
- Limited/Joint Stock Company
You can get payments for your sub-merchants with the above stated business models by using Marketplace Payment Solution.
Are my sellers on the marketplace required to be iyzico members? If so, how can they apply for membership?
Your sellers do not have to apply to iyzico system individually. Since you have their information, it will be enough that you register them in the system.
Will there be a technical process that my sellers need to complete after they are registered to the system (API - S Key etc.)?
The system attains a single value for each sub-merchant (seller) that is registered. In each transaction, such single value needs to be sent to iyzico by the marketplace for the relevant sub-merchant. You can view all the technical details on our integration document.
Will extra commissions, registration fee, integration charge, etc. be deducted from my sellers?
No, iyzico service charge won’t be separately reflected to your sellers. Moreover, there are no fees for system registration and integration.
Will iyzico Commission Fee be deducted from the total transaction amount or from the service value that I demand from the seller?
iyzico commission fee will be calculated according to total transaction fee and deducted from the share of the marketplace which has sufficient balance.
How will the sellers receive their payments?
IBAN information of the relevant sellers is among the information that needs to be sent to iyzico when registering your sellers in the system. The money transfer will take place following the completion of the transaction by the buyer. In this case, while as a marketplace you receive your commission profit, the sub-merchants (your sellers) receive their payments.
How will the pricing be?
Your sellers need to send an invoice to the buyer who purchased a product with regards to the total payment amount. Then, the commission invoice in accordance to the commission agreement between marketplace and seller, needs to be sent to the seller. Following this, iyzico will also send the commission invoice concerning the commission it deducts as service charge to the marketplace. Neither the marketplace nor your sellers need to make out any invoices to iyzico.
How can I enter the commission amounts that are decided between myself and my sellers to the system?
You are not obliged to enter commission information to the iyzico system for each seller. It is sufficient that the Marketplace to update iyzico on each payment transaction while keeping the commission information for itself.
Can I work with some sellers on a different commission rate?
Yes, thanks to the Marketplace Payment Solution, you can work with different commission rates for each of your sellers.
Can I define different payment periods for different sellers?
iyzico and the marketplace will have an agreement on the periods in which the payments will be transferred/distributed. Payments will transferred/distributed according to this agreement.
Is there an Escrow (Secure E-Commerce)?
Following the secure completion of the purchase after the buyer’s payment, Marketplace sends iyzico information for distribution of the amount. iyzico transfers the amount after the receipt of such information. If Marketplace doesn’t send this information to iyzico, the relevant amount will be held in the pool account of iyzico indefinitely.
Which details I can check on iyzico Control Panel?
The information that you can check by using the iyzico Control Panel is listed below:
- Transaction Details (It allows you to view all transactions breakdowns such as date, amount, bank, etc.)
- Validation Errors (You can view the errors that your buyers receive during transactions)
- Cancellations and Refunds

Will shipment processes be tracked by you?
Shipment processes are not tracked by iyzico.
Will there be a commission fee deducted in refund transactions? If so, will I or my sellers pay the fees?
There are no commission fees for iyzico refund transactions.
Does it support the multiple shopping carts in which there are multiple sellers? How will the transactions take place?
Marketplace Payment Solution supports the multiple shopping cart structure made up of different sellers. Therefore, users on your platform can form shopping carts with products from different sellers and make their purchases.

How can I use the Link Solution?
You can register from "Get Paid by Link" page and complete your application process by filling out the application form through the iyzico Control Panel. Can I make sales in instalments through the Link Solution?
Individual users (who don’t have companies) or corporate users can get payments in instalments through the Link Solution. You will need to activate the “Sales in Instalments” feature of the link that you want to sell in instalments. Eligibility of products that are sold by link for sales in instalments is defined by legal regulations and thereby, even though you activate the “Sales in Instalments” feature, you might not sell your product in instalments in certain occasions. If your product is eligible for sale in instalments, the maximum number of instalments will be listed on the payment page for your buyers. Will there be any commission, setup charge, integration fee for those who sell by the Link Method?
Our corporate users can get an offer starting from 4.29% commission rate and 0.25 Turkish Liras transaction fee. Our individual users who do not own a company are charged at starting from 4.49% commission rate and 0.25 Turkish Liras transaction fee.
When will the payments be transferred to me?
All payments with regards to your sales transactions that took place between Monday to Sunday will be made into the accounts of our corporate users the following Wednesday.
All payments will be made into the accounts of the individual users who don’t own a company, the first Wednesday seven days after sale is successfully completed.

How can I check my payouts?
You can check the payouts for your online shop on the "Transactions" section on your iyzico Control Panel.
After I integrate iyzico to my online shop, at what intervals will the payouts be transferred to my account?
When calculating the payout periods, please take the following into consideration.
- Transactions are calculated weekly at iyzico.
- Transactions made from Wednesday 00:00 until Tuesday 23:59 represent the weekly payout.
- Weekly payouts will be made to your account after 3 weeks.
- If you have a business model that make regular weekly transactions, you can receive your payments weekly. However, these payout won’t cover your last 3 weeks. For instance,

Your second week’s payout on the 5th week,
Your third week’s payout on the 6th week.
What is blockage period?
Blockage period means the waiting period for the payout to your accounts after the successful completion of payments from your customers.
What is the payout period?
Payout period determines the frequency of money transfer of the successful payments on your online shop to your accounts.
What’s the reason for blockage period?
The most important reason for the blockage period is the Chargeback risk which is frequent in e-commerce. Furthermore, the criteria of by the banks we work with is also one of the reasons why we have to work with blockage period. Therefore, we apply various reporting criteria at 3-week period intervals and make payments according to this period. Your blockage period can be shortened by a review of your transaction volume and the products by iyzico.
When will iyzico carry out the payout of the successful transactions on your online shop?
The sum of the successful transactions made between Wednesdays and the following Tuesdays will be paid into your account in the first Wednesday 21 days after the transaction is processed.
The first payment will be settled according to the blockage period and you can view this on the Merchant Panel settings (https://merchant.iyzipay.com/settings) . After the first payout for your account, following payments will be made in fixed intervals in line with your money transfer periods.

Will I know the payout amount that will be made to me?
You can track the sum of the payments and refunds and its detailed reports daily through the iyzico Control Panel right a day after the transactions are completed.
Where can I check my transactions?
You can generate the detailed transaction report for the time period you set and download it via the "Transaction Report" tab.
What is a transaction cancellation?
A payment made via iyzico can be cancelled within the same day (without taking the end of day report) in line with the banking rules. The difference of a cancellation transaction from a refund is that the cancellation can be made within the same day as the payment and it is not reflected as in -and -out payments on the card statements.
How am I going to make cancellations and refunds?
You can list all your transactions by using the transactions menu on the iyzico Control Panel.
It is sufficient to click on the "Cancel" button placed on the far right of the screen after you find the transaction you would like to refund or cancel from the list. When you cancel the payment, the full amount will be refunded to the user’s card. However, any cancellation transaction should be made within the same day of the payment. If not, "Cancel" button will not appear on the screen.
For refunds, it is sufficient to click on the "Refund" button placed on the far right of the screen after clicking on the breakdown of transaction. On the refunds screen, you can complete your refund by stating a certain amount of the relevant transaction.
Do we have to pay an additional fee for refund requests?
All refunds made after completed transactions are regarded as cancellation. There will be no additional fees that will be deducted when the refund is made.
When the refunds will be made to my customer’s card?
Refunds are completed online. Therefore, when you click "Refund the Payment" button, the payment will be automatically refunded. Refunded transactions will be reflected in the card accounts within 1-3 working days for payments made by credit cards and within 7-14 days for payments made by debit cards.
How am I going to refund the amount to my customer?
When you click on the payment’s details under the "Transactions" section on the iyzico Control Panel, you will see a "Refund Payment" button. By clicking this button, you can complete your refund transactions.
Once you confirm refund by clicking this button, please note that this action cannot be undone.
How will you be invoicing?
You don’t need to make out invoices to iyzico. Invoicing process for successful transactions made on your website by using iyzico will be as follows;
For the total amount that your customer paid, you must make out a paid invoice with the name of the customer and sent it with the product/service you sold to your customer.
When the payout is being carried out to your account by iyzico, there will be invoices made to your company for commission and term difference rates and these invoices will be sent to you periodically.
As iyzico provides you with a payment infrastructure you can register these commission/service invoices as service charges.
I haven’t received my invoices. What should I do?

We would like you to check your link through www.etsy.com/your/apps first. If your address is visible on this link, there is nothing you will need to do. It means that when your customer adds their products to their shopping cards and fill in their information, they will see the order received page. At this stage, iyzico will send a payment link to your customers’ e-mail addresses. When your customers click on the payment link, they can make payments through the payment form that is shown on their screen.

I can’t see my API and Security Keys. What is the reason?
If you applied to iyzico for "Get Paid by Link", you may not see the API security key on your iyzico Control Panel. Link management enables you to take payments through a link you formed, and API cannot be integrated to the website because it doesn’t have security keys. If you wish to integrate iyzico into your website, you will need to make a new "Get Paid by Link" application.
I receive a complete your integration e-mail. What is the reason?
iyzico Integration Team will expect you to conduct a successful payment trial for a transaction worth a symbolic amount with a real credit card. We recommend you conduct payment trials of 1-3 Turkish Liras of value with your real credit card after the completion of the integration process. You can check the trial payments made and cancel them through the (link) "Transactions and Refunds" menu on your iyzico Control Panel. After the test stage, you can start taking active payments securely.
What is a suspicious transaction?
"iyzico Fraud System" scores future payments by taking past payments into account. Taking this score into account, iyzico classifies transactions made through your site and automatically accepts, rejects or categorizes the payment as suspicious.
How can I identify a suspicious transaction?
You can look for the following to identify a transaction as suspicious;
- Check “Suspicious Transactions” section of the iyzico Control Panel,
- An e-mail to be sent by the system to your registered e-mail address,
- Return of the payment request within the “fraud_status” parameter,
- Through IFN (iyzico Fraud Notification Service)
If a payment made through your website has suspicious transaction status, you should never deliver this product/service without receiving an automatic or manual clearance/information e-mail from us.

How can I learn the outcome of a transaction with suspicious transaction status?
A transaction under suspicious transaction status can be automatically accepted or rejected after being checked by iyzico. iyzico will inform you as below when it deals with a transaction under suspicious transaction status:
- An e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail account by the system stating whether the transaction is accepted or rejected,
- Information will be given through a callback URL which you will define in the system through IFN (iyzico Fraud Notification Service). To get information on IFN, you can contact iyzico Integration Team.
Who can benefit from Fraud Service Solution?
It is possible to prevent fraud and scamming in e-commerce is possible by iyzico’s AI based fraud solution developed by iyzico engineers. All e-commerce merchants working with iyzico can benefit from this solution free of charge.
What is chargeback?
Card owners have the right to challenge transactions made by their cards without their consent. Such complaint is first filed by the card owner to the issuer bank and the bank demands detailed information with regards to claimed transaction from the merchant. In case the card owner was deemed to be right, issuing bank terminates the process by claiming the amount subject to disputed transaction from the business and refunding it to the card owner’s account. This transaction is called chargeback. It is also known as “refunds” among users.
Banks need to abide by the rules set by the card organizations in such transactions. This procedure is not valid only for certain banks or solely for Turkish banks. The challenge procedure is the same in everywhere where card organizations’ rules are valid. This means that chargeback form doesn’t change in domestic transactions or card transactions made abroad. As iyzico, we investigate these processes diligently and contact the merchant and/or the customer and solve such issues in a couple of weeks.
How does Chargeback procedure work?
The following procedure is generally applied in chargeback transactions:
- Card owner passes his/her dispute to the issuer bank.
- The issuer bank transfers the dispute to the merchant’s bank.
- Merchant’s bank will pass this complaint to the merchant and demand documents with regards to the transaction subject to the dispute.
- Merchant will send the related documents to the bank.
- If the merchant fails to send any documents within the given period or the documents sent are insufficient, the disputed amount will be withdrawn from the merchant’s account and refunded to the bank of the card owner.
- If the sent documents are deemed to be sufficient, they will be sent to the bank of the card owner and the dispute will be rejected. The merchant will not have to refund the relevant amount.
Which documents are valid in Chargebacks?
Documents to be valid in such situations will vary according to the reason of the dispute. The document that is most valid is the delivery document of the shipment company signed by the transaction owner. What is important here is the signature belongs to the transaction owner. Documents signed by different people will not be considered as valid by the bank. After the documents are passed on to the bank, the result of the dispute procedure will be determined by the merchant and bank owning the card.
How will refunds be processed if the transaction is subject to a chargeback?
Cancellations/refunds should be made to the card through which the relevant transaction was made. They shouldn’t be made to a different card, name or a bank account as an EFT/money deposit based on user request.
What are the factors that increase Chargeback risks?
The following factors should be taken into account to minimize the fraud rates through fraud control:
- Repeated trials for transactions with same or different cards despite the trials were unsuccessful.
- Use of meaningless and free e-mail addresses.
- Multiple trials for payments of low amounts with the same card within a short period of time.
- Stolen or lost card warning issued by the bank with regards to the card used in payment.
- Trials for payments with different cards through the same IP address within a short period of time.
- Attempts for payment by a card previously banned on the platform.
- Use of the same card from a different IP address within 30 days.
- More than three transactions made within the same day through the same IP address.
- Attempts for payments through using the same card by changing its valid to dates,
- Attempts for transactions from different IP addresses through the use of a single card.
Can I use 3D Secure System?
iyzico requires 3D Secure option for some business models it deems as risky. However, if you would like to use 3D Secure without the obligation for your firm, you contact us from Contact Us section. Our team will get back to on your request as soon as possible.
Furthermore, you can ensure that transactions above a certain limit set by you could processed under 3D Secure by selecting the "Amount Based 3DS" from the iyzico Control Panel.

Why do I see “iyzico” on my card statement?
The reason why you see “iyzico” on your statement is that the online shop where you made your purchase uses iyzico’s technology. As iyzico, we never process any purchase or make any money transaction without your knowledge.
How can I change my IBAN?
To update your bank details, please share a card statement that shows your new details via the email address you registered to iyzico. If you use Internet Banking, you need to share a screenshot showing those details.
When will the link I set up be approved?
We have a 24-hour approval period for the very first link you set up through Link Management. Your products will be ready to receive payments within 24 hours upon the evaluation of our decision team.
How can I change my e-mail address?
You can change your e-mail address following the steps below through your iyzico Control Panel:

- Enter the new e-mail address twice.
- When you click on the “Save” button, you will see a pop-up screen “Mobile Phone Verification”.

Should I make any additional payments regarding the commission fee invoice I receive?
Your iyzico commission rate is deducted from the successful transactions before the payout. The invoice of the commission and transaction fees charged will be sent to your registered e-mail address in the first week of the following month. Therefore, you don’t need to make any additional payments.
My customer demands a refund, can you carry out the refund transaction?
We are not able to interfere to the completed transactions due to account security. However, you can refund the relevant amount through the “Transactions” section.
What is general denial error?
Errors with codes 57, 12, and 05 are the most frequent errors in e-commerce.
Is my customer charged in transactions where it says, “3D is initiated” or “3D is returned to merchant”?
There are different status conditions on the iyzico Control Panel denoted with 4 different colors. Transactions shown in green express that the transaction is completed successfully.
Transactions in red signify that the transaction was not completed due to an error. You will find information under the section titled “Error Message” on the reason of the error.
Transactions in yellow (3D returned to merchant) express that the 3D secure code is entered, however, due to an error in the card (pin error, etc.), the transactions were unsuccessful.
Transactions in orange (3D initiated) means that the customer progressed to the 3D page but the 3D screen was closed by the customer before the transaction was completed.

How can I do partial refunds?
Under the “Transactions” sections of your iyzico Control Panel click on the payment number of the transaction you would like to cancel, or refund and it will direct you to a new page.
